Radford K-9 Sports Centre offers on-line Obedience classes via Zoom for manners at home etc plus introductory competitive obedience.

On-line classes will run for 5 weeks.  Payment for the full 5 weeks must be paid before the start of the class.  If you are unable to make a class, you will be able to review the class on zoom for 5 days after class date.  Classes will only begin if there are a minimum of 3 students.

Class will run for 50 minutes.  It will be expected that you will practice your lessons between classes during the week.  There will be a short Q & A at the beginning of each new class to discuss the prior weeks lesson.  During class, participants will be muted while the instructor goes over the new weeks lesson.  Once the instructor has completed the instructions, participants may ask questions by raising their hands or by sending in a question through chat.  While on-line, you will practice with your dog and the instructor will observe and assist as needed.   We will have a short Q & A at the end of the session.

All classes are taught using only positive methods.  The use of the clicker will be introduced.  You will need a clicker and lots of soft treats.  If you do not wish to use a clicker, you can mark the behaviour by saying the word "yes" in place of the click.

If your collar of choice is either a Pinch collar, choke chains or electronic shock collars, this course is not for you.
